About Brittany

Brittany received her Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from McGill University in 2016, and her Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology at the University of Toronto (2013). Brittany is registered member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, as well as a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the CCPA.

Utilizing an emotion-focused, trauma-informed and attachment-based approach, Brittany is skilled at facilitating healthy emotional processes and providing tools to encourage skillful coping and responses. Brittany is trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, and Dialectical-Behaviour Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Treatment planning may involve one or an integration of these modalities taking into account your personal processing style, needs, and preferences. She believes in the beauty of diversity and personal autonomy and carries a unique skillset in understanding emotions and facilitating adaptive change.​

Brittany is an experienced psychotherapist dedicated to providing evidence informed and skillful service. Her understanding of diversity and her willingness to treat every client as a unique individual contributes to her warm and collaborative approach discovering each's remarkable capacity they have for change on their own terms. Combining her counselling and assessment skillsets, she offers experiential and cognitive therapies as well as skill development work with particular expertise in anxiety, ADHD, Autism attachment wounds, stage of life challenges, and general difficulties in thought and emotion.

Brittany is married as has two young children. She enjoys spending time outdoors admiring the world’s natural beauty, and is a lover of music and literature. She is deeply passionate about encouraging others, making meaningful connections, and living life unencumbered and authentically.
